This course offers a way to give students more focused time on their own projects with a faculty mentor.

Advanced studio is a formalized independent study with group monthly meetings to help sustain intimate community dialog and feedback.
The studio is limited to 9 students.
Our first meeting will be held Monday 29 January 2007 at the Tiltfactor lab, and as a group we will schedule the rest.

All participants will have made a short proposal: a plan for a major project, or two smaller projects, or a set of investigations. With a proposal already in hand the first class, we begin with a bang. We meet collectively once per month to present and discuss ideas, and the rest of the time we either arrange indiv. appointments, or online meetings, or update each other by email or at the lab.
