Syllabus
for Web Pro I
Web Site Proposal form for the Nonprofit
project!
Individual Web Art Assignment
Web Production I 285 Fall 2003
Explore
the concept of emptiness. Is emptiness is a mode
of perception, a way of looking at experience? Is
emptiness an absence or a presence?
Using
html and if you would like, javascript rollovers,
explore the concept. Look at projects linked to this page for inspiration!
Perhaps you have a personal narrative or documentary style
exploration you would like create about emptiness. Perhaps
you would like to explore a place. Perhaps you would like
to explore the abstract, formal qualities of emptiness. In
any event, the project should take on the concept and use
the technology to explore the ideas in a consistent
fashion. Use images if they relate to the concept.
• The site must contain one example of sound use.
• The site must have a minimum of 5 pages and/or be
complex enough in another manner to be of merit for a good
portion of the final grade (see syllabus)
.
• Please create sketches in the sketchbook as part
of your sketchbook grade
• Create an artists’ statement in the form of
abstract and project description (one page)
